Aplication: EITAR Electromagnetic Groups are used in safety devices for home and commercial/industrial gas appliances. Their function is to open or close the gas flow into the burner by means of voltage generated by the thermocouple to which it is attached.

CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS:- The electromagnetic group is a sealed unit which cannot be repaired; it should be replaced in case of failure.
- Ferromagnetic core and disc are made with a very high magnetic permeability alloy.
- The shutter is made in NBR (improved) or silicon rubber (higher temperature) according to working temperature and other customer required conditions.
- Three basic sizes are provided (Series 4000, 4200 and 4800) according to the gas flow required by the valve in which it is used.
WARNINGS AND INSTALLATION DATA:- EITAR groups must not be exposed to humidity, dust, dirt and/or shavings.
- Special care is recommended for gas supply system. Organic and inorganic foreign elements can limit the appropriate functioning of the electromagnetic group.
- Before assembly, the shutter and shutter surroundings must be cleaned; it should be free from dirt.
- During assembly, no liquid, grease, glue or sealer can enter into the electromagnetic group case.
- Maximum adjusting torque on the magnetic groups: 25 Nm.
- Maximum adjustment torque in the thermocouple: 4 Nm.
PERFORMANCE:- For any type of gas.
- Operating current range: 40 mA to 200 mA.(C.C.) .
- Holding current less than 200 mA. and release current higher than 40 mA. Under special requirements different current range can be supplied.
- Internal electrical resistance: 16 to 21 milliohm. (depending on model)
